I have known Chris Turley for nearly 10 years. He is bright, creative, knowledgeable, honorable and also has a wonderful sense of humor. These are all attributes that serve him well as an architect and builder.

We enlisted Chris to help us take our basement from a big open poured concrete bathtub to a warm, inviting, fun and functional place for our children to hang out. I also wanted it to be a place that I could enjoy, including in those years after our children went off to college.

Chris spent a lot of time listening to what we wanted and drilled down to "why" we wanted them. He then made suggestions and recommendations. While some people hire architects to design everything and tell them when they are done, we had a strong vision of what we wanted and wanted to be involved in the process. Chris had a lot of creative ideas, many of which we could not have thought of on our own. We did not adopt all of his suggestions and Chris did not take it personally or try to convince us of why he was right just because he was the architect. We are delighted with the result and have been enjoying our new space.

As both an architect and builder, Chris can envision how the process will unfold better than most. Chris can identify and avoid construction problems through his architectural plans. Chris has an attention to detail that many other architects and/or builders do not. Part of this is based upon Chris' creative skills and part is based upon his integrity, he will not cut corners even if his clients may not know the difference.
