Who would think that Port Orchard, WA, would be home to such amazing artistic talent?

Recently, we commissioned Koos for family portraits, and a professional "head shot." Magically, our three boisterous dogs behaved for the portraits (maybe Koos is a dog whisperer!). And the un-retouched photos alone somehow captured the essence of each family member, and the heart of who we are together as a family. The head shots are among the best I've ever seen...truly professionally done.

While I haven't yet seen the completely finished product, I can only imagine how spectacular it will be. When I have the final portraits, I will post an update.

Koos' initial consultation wherein she gave advice selecting locations, setting, type of poses, etc. was invaluable. I never would have been able to so easily coordinate clothing without Koos' assistance.

The shoot was hysterically fun, and normally shy family members who loathe having pictures taken were relaxed and responsive to Koos suggestions.

I would travel great distances to work with Koos. Fortunately for us, Koos is in our own backyard.

If you are interested in portraits, Koos is the one to call! We are lucky to have such talent in our area, and I hope that folks continue to support this lovely artist and especially her vision which memorializes family bonds in heirloom quality portraits.
