I made the mistake of believing Global Escapes' claims that they had inventory that no other travel agent or timeshare rental agency had. And that their cost was less than competitors. Each time I've checked what is available in their inventory either they have NO availability for where/when I want to travel or I can find the same thing for less money through Hotels.com or the hotel's own web-site. Not one word of their sales pitch turned out to be true. Every penny I spent on my "membership" was money thrown away for nothing.
