I want to say thank you to Fido Finder for helping to bring Sissy Home.

Sissy is a 9 year old Yorkshire terrier who has lived indoors her entire life. We have been her family all of her life.

On Saturday July 5th in the early morning, Sissy disappeared. We were having a yard sale that morning and think that she followed her "Daddy" when he left in the car to go put up signs for the yard sale.

Sissy has never run away before, ever. She runs around in the front and back yards with us when we are outside and we've never even thought to worry about her running off.

I posted an ad about Sissy on the afternoon of the 5th on FidoFinder. On the morning of July 6th, I received an email frm FidoFinder stating, "Someone thinks they may have found Sissy!"

We contacted Christine, the woman who contacted us via FidoFinder, and she informed us that she too had lost her Yorkie. She went on to tell us that someone contacted her after seeing an ad that she had posted about her missing Yorkie. She went to their home and sadly enough, it wasn't hers. But Christine was kind enough to call us and tell us that she thinks that the dog she went to see was ours!

She saw my ad on Fido Finder along with Sissy's picture and put two and two together.

At around 7:30 p.m., we visited the home of the nice people who had taken Sissy in and sure enough, it was our baby!

We can't thank FidoFinder enough for providing the avenue of communication that led our baby back home to us!
