When my husband and I decided to purchase a home in 2007, we were at a loss as to where to go to obtain a mortgage. We asked the advice of our accountant, who recommended Marc. Since we had not had to get a mortgage in 12 years, we really needed a refresher course about all the details of the mortgage industry. Marc literally spent hours and hours with us on the phone explaining all the options available to us. I was expremely impressed with his knowledge of the mortgage industry; he opened our eyes to options and programs we never knew existed. He gave us his cell phone # and made himself available to us nearly 24/7 to ask any questions we might have. Unfortunately for us, we chose to purchase a home at a time when the housing and mortgage market were in a very precarious position. Banks were looking at everything with a fine toothed comb and also closing down their jumbo mortgage programs, which was the kind of loan we needed. Marc never gave up; he kept trying bank after bank after bank and was finally successful in obtaining the mortgage we needed. As the mortgage process was long and difficult, I must admit that we were discouraged and frustrated and at times, tempers flared, especially on the part of my husband. I'm sure Marc was as frustrated as we were, but at no time did he lose his cool. He maintained a professional, polite and accommodating demeanor throughout the whole process. I must commend him for his patience, his perserverance, his professionalism and his thorough knowledge.

As an additional detail, during this process of purchasing a home, we were also trying to sell our condo. Our buyers ran into difficulty with their broker and were going to cancel the deal, but we recommended they talk to Marc. They were as impressed with him as we were and he was able to obtain a mortgage for them and save the deal. I really am very grateful to Marc for everything he did, on more than one count. A great deal of the credit goes to him over the fact that we are now enjoying our lovely home.
