Empire Apartments is a SCAM. Do not fall for it. After answering a Craiglists ad and paying $200 because Brooke represented that they were a "pre-screening agency for landlords" they never gave me the address of the apartment I was looking for. I looked at their listings and I realized they were the same listings I was getting elsewhere for free on the Internet. I tried to cancel withing 24 hours by writing a letter for a refund (as they instructed) and they never responded to my request. I repeatedly tried to email and call, and they have NOT responded at all. They also mysteriously charged my CC another $45 recently. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM.
