If you are fortunate enough to work with Chris Turley, be assured that your project will be in excellent hands! Honorable, responsive, consciencious, knowledgeable and professional are the words that come to mind when I think back on about my experience with his firm.

I called on Chris Turley as a consultant last December, when I noticed some cracks seemed to be getting bigger along a wall in our 85 year-old house. We'd lived here for two years and the home had been thoroughly inspected before we moved in. I had a gut feeling that it wasn't just "settling" - as the inspector had described it.

After emailing Chris some pictures, he contacted me immediately to arrange a time for he and his contractor to evaluate the situation. This was during the busy holiday season, and it turned out to be a serious structural issue that had to be remedied immediately. Chris diagnosed the problem and proposed a couple of solutions. Although his contractor was in the middle of a big project, he came to my house and spent a considerable amount of time with Chris to discuss some possible interim solutions until he could be available to do the work.

After much discussion and thought, Chris determined that we should try to find an available contractor to handle the complete job before the end of the holiday season, if possible.. To that end, Chris again spent a considerable amount of his own time helping me evaluate proposals and fees when time was of the essence.

In the end, it all turned out great! I couldn't have managed this situation without Chris's guidance and expertise -- and he will be the first (and only) architect I will ever call when the time comes for us to add those extra bathrooms and enlarge our kitchen!
