Kelly Dieter Associate Account Executive Ketchum Public Affairs, Washington, D.C.
Kelly Dieter serves Ketchum Public Affairs as an Associate Account Executive with a background in governmental affairs, public relations, event planning, and business development.
Currently, Ms. Dieter is a member of two account teams for clients including: The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) and Clorox. For PhRMA, Ms. Dieter assists in materials development, medical conference exhibiting, budget monitoring, special events coordination and client servicing. For Clorox, Ms. Dieter assisted in media materials development and research of program developments.
Most recently, Ms. Dieter has worked with the State of Connecticut on a six-week campaign to prevent Submarine Base New London from closing where she facilitated national media pitching and media monitoring.
Formerly, Ms. Dieter was a research and business development associate at Williams Mullen Strategies, where she tracked, researched, and analyzed legislative affairs and news for such clients as Severstal North America, Global Pharmaceutical Sourcing, and Precision Metalforming Association.
Prior to joining Williams Mullen Strategies, Ms. Dieter served as the contact person for the 2005 Florida Inaugural Dinner and Late Night Gala for Hayes and Associates, a public relations firm. Ms. Dieter was also the congressional affairs assistant at the United Services Organization.
Additionally, Ms. Dieter worked as a research assistant for The Ferguson Group, a lobbying firm, where she often attended United States Conference of Mayors meetings. While working for The Ferguson Group, she gained extensive experience with the appropriations process. Ms. Dieter began her work experience as an intern for Representative Sue Myrick (R-NC-9) in both her congressional and campaign offices.
Kelly Dieter has a degree in Political Science from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
