The Bright Side Concerned Carpet & Upholstery Care was founded in May of 1993 by my partner Noelle Kiener and myself, and incorporated in October of that same year.
Our goal was to fulfill the unmet service needs of Chicago’s north suburban area. While there are many carpet and upholstery cleaning companies in the area, surprisingly few have the prerequisite knowledge to provide proper cleaning methods and maintenance advice and information for delicate and high-investment fabrics. We generally work for people who are tired of being frustrated and humiliated by inferior and unresponsive service, and by a lack of accurate information in the industry.
We positioned ourselves to serve this market niche with extensive education regarding fabrics and fiber materials, the chemistry of cleaning and prior experience in the field. In the late 90's, we expanded our services to include leather furniture restoration, air duct cleaning, powerwashing and sealing services, and others. In keeping with our original vision for the company, now entering its 14th year, we continue to set ourselves apart by our commitment to understanding our clients' exact needs, and by using a scientific approach to achieve superior results. We are proud members of The Better Business Bureau of Northern Illinois, The Wilmette Chamber of Commerce, and also carry several recognized cleaning industry certifications.
