Passionate about helping others, Brett Sagan possesses a reputation among his peers for his unparalleled commitment to community service. Through his participation with Meals on Wheels, Brett Sagan was instrumental in driving the group’s mission to end senior hunger by 2020, delivering meals to the elderly in a volunteer capacity. Brett Sagan’s desire to help others also extended into school activities, such as his participation in the Newton North High School (NNHS) Microcredit Club, where he served as Treasurer. As one of the Microcredit Club’s officials, Brett Sagan endeavored to help the club meet its objectives through skilled management of funds. Additionally, Brett Sagan utilized his leadership role to inspire charitable spirit among his peers. A recent graduate of NNHS, Brett Sagan currently attends New York University (NYU), where he majors in English. Brett Sagan brings with him a number of academic achievements, including involvement in the Model United Nations and two bronze medals for his work on the National Spanish Exam. In his spare time, Brett Sagan enjoys a wide range of activities, including spending time with his friends, going to museums, attending the theater, photography and reading. Brett Sagan’s literary tastes include works by authors such as Herman Hesse to Stieg Larsson.
