A charitable individual, Christopher Uzzi performs community services through the building construction industry. Other community service projects that Christopher Uzzi partakes in include volunteering at events put on by his local church. Christopher Uzzi belongs to the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, under the auspices of the Archdiocese of New York. Apart from Christopher Uzzi’s community service efforts conducted through the church, he contributes to Operation Support Our Troops, the AdoptaPlatoon Soldier Support Effort, the Red Cross, and the Salvation Army. Christopher Uzzi’s extensive support for service members in the United States armed forces stems from his own history of involvement in the military. A soldier during the Vietnam War, Christopher Uzzi served as a Staff Sergeant Platoon Leader for personnel unit operations during the conflict. Christopher Uzzi earned two Bronze Star Medals and a Conspicuous Service Cross for his bravery and service. Christopher Uzzi is currently a member of the Non-Commissioned Officer Candidate Association. When he is not working or volunteering, Christopher Uzzi functions as a Senior Tennis Advisor for the United States Professional Tennis Association, helping players improve their game and achieve their sporting goals. A member of the United States Tennis Association as well, Christopher Uzzi tours the United States, partaking in national tournaments in the division for men in their 60s. Christopher Uzzi ranks 26th in the Eastern Division.
