Mr. John Costas is the former Global Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of UBS Investment Bank, one of the world’s most recognizable names in today’s investment banking industry. During John Costas’ tenure at UBS, the company received honors by being named the World’s Best Investment Bank in the 2002 Euromoney Awards for Excellence. During the same ceremony, John Costas accepted the organization’s recipient for the PricewaterhouseCooper Capital Markets Achievement Award, which recognized his instrumental role in the bank’s development. Under the direction of John Costas, UBS Investment Bank rose from the world’s 15th to 4th ranked bank according to its market share. In addition to his work with UBS Investment Bank, John Costas also served as the Deputy CEO of UBS A.G. and the CEO Dillon Read Capital Management LLC. John Costas also sat on the UBS Group Executive Board from 2001 to 2005. Before joining UBS, John Costas worked at Credit Suisse First Boston for 15 years, filling a number of roles. Hired shortly after receiving his Master of Business Administration, John Costas retired from his role at CS First Boston as the co-manager of the bank’s Global Fixed Income department, which provided the bank’s highest amount of revenue. At present, John Costas serves as the Chairman of PrinceRidge Group, an investment banking firm based in New York, New York. Established last year, John Costas has already effected substantial growth at the boutique investment company, expanding it from seven employees to 120. Led by John Costas, PrinceRidge Group was recently recognized as one of the fastest growing boutique investment banks in the United States. John Costas started his education at the University of Delaware and continued his graduate work at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business.
