Operating her own hair extension salon since 2006, entrepreneur Sheila Matechuk is an adept leader with comprehensive experience in marketing, public relations, styling, consultation, and day-to-day business management. Devoting her time and resources to women in need, Sheila Matechuk established a scholarship to provide services for women with limited income and survivors of cancer. Sheila Matechuk carries more than 15 different hair colors, from jet black to dark honey blonde to dark auburn. In creating extension pieces, Sheila Matechuk utilizes hair from Europe, India, and China, depending on the texture, hue, and price a client chooses. The methods by which Sheila Matechuk applies hair extensions are Goddess Locs, Loc Track Extensions, Temporary Hair, and Goddess Integration. Though she provides hair extensions for a variety of purposes, Sheila Matechuk is particularly interested in combating hair loss and styling hair for major occasions such as weddings. In addition to running three San Francisco Bay Area-based Goddess Beauty salons, Sheila Matechuk trains aspiring stylists in workshops held at a beauty salon in Sunnyvale, California.
