An alumnus of Michigan State University, Dr. Todd E. Lininger has built a solid career as an expert in pain management since obtaining his Bachelor's degree in 1981. Dr. Todd E. Lininger went on to attend Wayne State University (WSU) School of Medicine, where he further demonstrated his commitment to academic excellence through his membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. In 1985, Dr. Todd E. Lininger earned his M.D. with honors. Dr. Todd Lininger completed his post-doctoral training at the WSU School of Medicine's Departments of Surgery and Anesthesiology and Sinai Hospital's Department of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Todd E. Lininger maintains his professional development as a member of the Continuing Medical Education Committee for the Department of Anesthesiology at WSU. Over the last few decades, Dr. Todd E. Lininger has held a broad range of positions, including Attending Anesthesiologist, Medical Director, and Assistant Clinical Professor.
Dr. Todd E. Lininger provides leadership and guidance on the WSU faculty as Director of the Anesthesiology Pain Medicine Fellowship program, and he also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Todd E. Lininger's efforts to engage students resulted in his being named Teacher of the year in 2005 and 2008.
In 2001, Dr. Todd E. Lininger helped found Pain Care Associates, a pain management clinic with locations in Bloomfield Township and Clarkston, Michigan. An integral member of the Pain Care Associates team, Dr. Todd E. Lininger assumes responsibilities as secretary and treasurer, in addition to his role as a physician. Dr. Todd Lininger works closely with each of his patients to develop and implement an individually suited pain management plan for every patient.
Dedicated to adhering to the high professional standards of his field, Dr. Todd E. Lininger maintains memberships in a multitude of organizations, including the International Spinal Injection Society, the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, the American Pain Society, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Medical Association.
