As a Managing Partner at Ungarino & Eckert, Mr. Matthew Ungarino concentrates his practice on general liability, transportation, contractual, professional liability, insurance coverage, and government relations cases. Since co-founding Ungarino & Eckert with Bill Eckert in 1994, Matthew Ungarino has opened six separate offices strategically placed throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. Both Matthew Ungarino and Bill Eckert engineered Ungarino & Eckert to be a firm whose partners are dedicated to unrivaled levels of service to a client’s case. Since its inception, Ungarino & Eckert has established itself as one of the strongest competitors in the local legal field. Recently, Ungarino & Eckert enjoyed great success in a construction defect case involving Scott Welch Homes. In the case, Ungarino & Eckert represented the Comprehensive General Liability insurer for the defendant contractor. Matthew Ungarino possesses a Bachelor of Science in Business from Tulane University and a joint Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor from Loyola University. A member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Matthew Ungarino is involved with Legatus, a network of Catholic business leaders.
