Dr. Arash Rahi graduated from medical school at the New York University School of Medicine. He then completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn) and a three-year fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive medicine. Arash Rahi is affiliated with three local hospitals, including Bellevue Hospital Center. In 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010, Arash Rahi was recognized for his work instructing medical students and residents in the area of obstetrics and gynecology. Arash Rahi earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry, Math, and French from New York University and graduated in 1999. During Arash Rahi’s freshman year at New York University, he was recognized for his excellence in academics by being awarded a Freshman Chemistry Award. During Arash Rahi’s last semester of undergraduate school, he took part in a study abroad program, giving him the opportunity to study international relations at Université Paris. While an undergraduate student at New York University, Rahi utilized his skills of speaking more than one language by working as a Translator for Berlitz International, Inc. He also worked in a programming and networking services position at New York University's Office of Financial Aid. As a pre-med student, Arash Rahi performed well on the MCAT, and as a result, became qualified to teach MCAT courses. While he was a medical student, Arash Rahi took time to be an Instructor for The Princeton Review teaching a review course to pre-med students in the subjects of general and organic chemistry, and physics. Arash Rahi is a member of two professional medical organizations, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS). Enjoying the outdoors, Arash Rahi spends his free time biking, hiking, sailing, camping, and diving.
