In his role as President and founder of the California Skin Institute in Mountain View, California, Dr. Greg Morganroth leverages over 15 years of experience in the field of dermatologic surgery toward his clinical practice. Since establishing the California Skin Institute, Dr. Greg Morganroth has expanded his operations to multiple locations in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, including Los Altos, San Jose/Los Gatos, and Saratoga. At each California Skin Institute facility, Dr. Greg Morganroth ensures the ongoing quality of the medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin therapies through the recruitment of seasoned dermatologists, a plastic surgeon specializing in breast and body contouring surgery, a dermatopathologists, excellent aestheticians, well-trained laser nurses, and experienced nurses.
Since 1995, Dr. Greg Morganroth has personally performed more than 18,000 skin cancer facial reconstructions and procedures involving Mohs surgery which provides the highest cure rate for skin cancer and the smallest scar. In addition, Dr. Greg Morganroth possesses a wealth of expertise in other areas of dermatology, including eyelifts, facelifts, neck sculpting, laser surgery, brow lifts, chin augmentation liposuctions, scar revisions, chin implants, and more. Considered an expert in Mohs surgery and facial reconstruction and a pioneer in the field of local anesthesia cosmetic facial and body surgery, Dr. Greg Morganroth provides instruction to fellow dermatologists through the California Skin Institute’s one-year Mohs and Advanced Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship, which received approval from the American College of Mohs Surgery in June 2004.
A Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Greg Morganroth has held numerous teaching positions at leading medical institutions in the San Francisco Bay Area. At present, Dr. Greg Morganroth serves on the clinical faculty of the Mittelman Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship training program and as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford University. In the past, Dr. Greg Morganroth trained dermatologists at the University of California, San Francisco as Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology. Dr. Morganroth is frequently visited by facial plastic surgeons and ophthalmic plastic surgeons to observe his facial reconstruction and local anesthesia cosmetic surgery techniques including his Vertical Vector Face Lift and his carbon dioxide laser transconjunctival blepharoplasty (eyelift). Dr. Greg Morganroth has published his techniques in prominent journals, textbooks, and has been invited to give dozens of lectures regarding his tecniques across the country.
