Justin Stiefel has led a distinguished career in infrastructural development, politics, technology, and law. Currently a Managing Member of Stiefel & Jones Consulting, LLC in Washington, D.C., and CEO and Director of Biopar, LLC, in Wasilla, Alaska, Justin Stiefel continues to apply comprehensive expertise in a variety of fields to his work with both firms. Stiefel & Jones, LLC was previously engaged in a number of exciting projects in Alaska, including the Kodiak Kenai Fiber Link, a 600-mile sub-sea fiber optic cable stretching from Anchorage to Kodiak Island and the Kenai Peninsula. Now entering its final stages, the Kodiak Kenai Fiber Link will provide Internet infrastructure and telecommunications to Kodiak Island and Kenai Peninsula for the first time. Justin Stiefel is now leading the team in the development of the proposed Northern Fiber Optic Link project (NFOL) and the proposed ArcticLink project that for the first time would connect Asia and Europe with sub-sea fiber optic cable through the Arctic. Biopar, LLC focuses on emerging opportunities in biology as well as technology-related endeavors like social networking and computer and database management. Justin Stiefel joined the company in 2006, renovating its existing business model and installing new strategic goals. Returning Biopar, LLC to profitability by forging new contracts, Justin Stiefel remains responsible for administration and long-term planning. Other highlights of Justin Stiefel’s professional endeavors include his time as Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski. Justin Stiefel was one of the youngest people to hold the position of Chief of Staff in the modern era of the U.S. Senate; Justin Stiefel also served as Senator Murkowski’s reelection Campaign Manager and was the architect of one of the most dramatic upsets in the 2004 election cycle. Justin Stiefel is the recipient of a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ohio and a JD from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America. Justin Stiefel has completed additional coursework in national security, decision-making, and security technology at the U.S. Naval War College and National Defense University in Washington, D.C.
