Licensed by the Department of Human Services in Georgia, Ridge Creek School is a therapeutic boarding school combining a healthy living environment in the Georgia Mountains with solid academic preparation and group and individual counseling. Students at Ridge Creek School are often working through Oppositional Defiant Disorder, though the staff at Ridge Creek School is skilled in providing personal attention for every student’s needs. Adjunct therapeutic services address many clinical issues, including self-destructive, compulsive, and addictive behaviors. Each student progresses through a sequential therapeutic program at Ridge Creek School, ensuring personal development and progress in a caring environment. Over the weekends, Ridge Creek School students embark on experiential learning outings, often rock climbing, camping, and mountaineering.
