Layne Gerstel currently serves as Partner in an Atlanta-based merchant services firm. Joining the firm in early 2009, Layne Gerstel’s business experience has already spurred intelligent growth and increased market opportunity. The company provides a wide range of services, including Retail Credit Card Processing, E-Commerce Processing with Internet Gateways & Virtual Terminals, and POS Software, all tailored to specific merchant needs. Layne Gerstel helps the firm maintain its world class service offerings, which provide merchants with ACH and E-Check Services, Gift Card Solutions, ATM Machines, and Credit Card Terminals.
Layne Gerstel graduated from Florida State University in 1996. His degree helped provide Layne Gerstel with the skills and experience he needed to jump directly into the financial services industry, where he began working with Olde Discount Stockbrokers and eventually transitioned into roles with Merrill Lynch and First Union. In 2007, Layne Gerstel used his knowledge of the financial services industry to become CEO of a Human Resources firm specializing in financial services recruitment. A year prior to his initial HR exploration, Layne Gerstel joined the mortgage services Industry with Aapex. Layne Gerstel helped build a call center for the firm, creating associate reward programs and training materials that helped strengthen corporate infrastructure.
Before attending Florida State University, Layne Gerstel studied Business and Accounting at Brooklyn College.
