A globally experienced professional with 19 years of extensive knowledge and expertise in a multitude of media sectors, Sam Zniber serves as Vice President of Programming and Program Director for Lagardere Active, where he oversees marketing, research, Internet, program and content strategies, and designing and training key programming and marketing teams for Lagardere Active Radio International.
Recognized for his vibrant creativity, solid pop culture awareness, ability to understand his target audience, and clear passion for music and industrial design, Sam Zniber earned a promotion as Program Director for French music stations, including Virgin Radio, RFM, and Musiline within one year of joining Lagardere. Lagardere Active International Radio boasts networks and websites in Germany, the Czech Republic, South Africa, Russia, Slovakia, Romania, and Poland. Mr. Zniber oversees a multitude of complex and demanding duties for the network that attracts more than 33.5 million listeners on a daily basis.
Prior to joining Lagardere Active, Sam Zniber garnered invaluable experience serving numerous senior level roles with media companies, including NRJ Group, RTL Group, Chrysalis Group, and Australian Radio Network – Clear Channel. Mr. Zniber proved to be a major driving force behind countless business and marketing initiatives that revamped products and brands in the market, increased operational capabilities, and expanded networks’ target range.
Supplementing his illustrious professional career, Mr. Sam Zniber serves as speaker for the NAB European Radio Conference, a major radio event for broadcasters. Mr. Zniber completed executive courses in media, Internet, radio, TV, and marketing at the University of California, Los Angeles; Harvard University; and HEC Paris.
