An avid photographer, Michael Locker MD has spent many years studying composition and exposure theory. Trained on black and white film, Michael Locker MD found the chemical process of developing negatives fascinating. Michael Locker MD also found the printing process just as intriguing. Michael Locker MD became facile enough at enlarging and printing that he undertook his own darkroom work in his basement as a teenager. Although Michael Locker MD no longer practices darkroom work, he cherishes his time perfecting prints. Today, with the advent of digital photography, Michael Locker MD has eagerly embraced the changes. Michael Locker believes that the digital era has provided the computer-proficient the opportunity to “have a darkroom at their desktop.” Dr. Locker no longer needs a basement or chemicals for perfecting prints, and the work is less laborious. Moreover, Michael Locker MD enjoys the instant gratification of improving exposures. Dr. Locker believes that photo-enhancing software has almost endless application. Michael Locker MD has trained on the Zone System. Dr. Locker has been a member of local photography clubs, and he enjoys sharing his knowledge with others who have similar interests. Additionally, Michael Locker MD likes to experiment with different lenses and camera angles. In his free time, Michael Locker MD likes to teach others how to use software to enhance their images.
