Accomplished in the fields of internal auditing and an insurance claims expert, Mr. Brian B. Wentworth of North Attleboro, MA, has leveraged his considerable experience toward a number of high-level positions throughout his career. Most recently, Brian Wentworth served as the Director of Audit for his employer, the first in the company’s history and a position he created, implemented and managed. In this position, Brian Wentworth led a number of important projects for his company, including a two year audit of a major operation, a top to bottom review of a new computer system, after several errors were found and a complete reorganization of two major departments. Through the combination of these initiatives, eight figure savings were realized. Prior to his role as Director of Audit, Brian was employed in the insurance industry serving in the roles of Director of Claims, managing a staff of 24, Senior Auditor, Special Investigations Unit and three senior level claims positions for various Boston area companies. Dedicated to his professional growth, Brian Wentworth is a member of numerous professional organizations related to his industry, including The Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Additionally, Brian Wentworth is working toward earning his CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) certification, which would further distinguish himself in the field of internal auditing.
A resident of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, Brian B. Wentworth is very active in his community. A strong advocate against underage alcohol/drug use, Brian Wentworth is in the process of developing a new school program, with professional assistance, that will help steer teens away from alcohol and drugs. Brian hopes to form this new program with a total focus on positivity, making good decisions, high self-esteem, morality and ethics in order to build the character strength necessary to stand against any of today's peer pressure situations that young people face. In furthering this effort, Brian currently speaks with patients and residents at a combination of 11 regional hospital detox facilities, transitional programs and men's and women's halfway houses. He most enjoys working with younger people, 18-30, where he feels he can have the most positive impact.
