| Jason Colodne’s established career in finance stretches back over a decade to his first position in the Investment Banking Department of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. From this early experience, Jason proceeded to UBS Securities LLC, working in Research and Proprietary Trading, as well as in the Distressed Securities Group. His positions provided him with a solid foundation in the basic underlying principles of finance, including credit analysis, due diligence, and financial model construction and interpretation. In January 2009, Jason Colodne founded investment management company Colbeck Capital Management, LLC. Colodne’s idea behind Colbeck Capital Management, LLC was to effectively launch the Colbeck Credit Opportunities and the Long-Only Loan funds that will invest in, and capitalize upon, opportunities in the distressed credit market. Colbeck Capital Management has gained a strategic partner in the Belgian Chimay Family, who have agreed to provide seed capital, operational funding and marketing support. Chimay Capital Management has over two decades of investment management experience. Jason Colodne entered the world of finance and the money market as an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania. Although a History major working towards a Bachelor of Arts degree, Jason Colodne took courses in Contract Law, Corporate Finance, Management, Financial Accounting, Micro and Macro Economic Theory, Calculus, and Statistics from the University’s renowned Wharton School. Mr. Colodne maintains Certifications in Series 3, 7, and 63. Recently, Jason Colodne recently had the opportunity to lead the New York offices of Patriarch Partners, LLC when he served as President of the firm.
