Retired after 25 years in retail field administration with two large corporations. I wasn't ready to "really retire" so took a CNA class and worked in a nursing home. I had always intended on having a nursing career but "life" changed my plans. Working in a nursing home opens your eyes (wide). You come face to face with how very important it is to do everything you can to care for your health.

I have always tried to choose the foods I eat with health in mind as research shows many diseases would be prevented with a better diet. Working in the nursing home drove this home even more. Not all disease can be avoided, but science has revealed 50% to 70% could be with better food choices.

This became my passion . . . to share what I have learned about nutrition vs. disease and let people decide if it resonates with them. The health of our children is of a particular interest to me.
