An alumnus of John Carroll University, Mr. Warren Lasch earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1968. From that point on, Warren Lasch utilized his extensive business skills to make valuable contributions to a variety of industries, particularly transport. Warren Lasch revolutionized the transport industry with the development of completely enclosed vehicle deliveries. Founding Precision Motor Transport Group, LLC and its subsidiaries Bavarian Motor Transport and Tri-Star Transport in 1992, Warren Lasch led the companies to $70.2 million in revenue in 2008. Warren Lasch has also developed solutions to distribution problems within the food bank network. From 1992 to 2000, Warren Lasch served as a member of the Michigan Truck & Safety Commission, where he advanced truck safety regulations on state and national levels.
Outside of his business pursuits, Warren Lasch has maintained an interest in historical preservation. From 1996 to 2005, Warren Lasch served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for The Friends of the Hunley, a nonprofit organization devoted to the preservation and restoration of the H. L. Hunley, a Civil War submarine that was the first submarine to sink an enemy ship during battle. Warren Lasch was instrumental in the organization and coordination of the raising of the Hunley and the subsequent commencement of its preservation process. Recognized for his tireless work for and generous donations to The Friends of the Hunley, Warren Lasch was honored with numerous awards, including South Carolina’s most prestigious civilian award, the Order of the Palmetto.
Currently, Warren Lasch resides outside of Charleston, South Carolina. When he is not working, Warren Lasch can be found playing golf, exercising, and spending time with his family.
