Warren Durso is a native New Yorker, and started his entertainment career playing drums Professionally at the age of 9 years old. He has been in various bands touring the US, Canada and the US Virgin Islands. In the early 90’s Warren met comedian Ron Bennington, from the Ron and Ron radio Network in Clearwater, Florida where he played a character called “The Curtain Boy” on the syndicated radio show. Warren became a regular favorite at Ron Bennington’s Comedy Scene. Warren toured with Sam Kinison’s “Outlaws of Comedy” featuring Jimmy Shubert, Carl LaBove, Mitchell Walters and Warren Durso as Ron Bennington’s Disciples of Comedy selling out 2000 seat theaters throughout the South Eastern United States.
1994-2002 Warren performed stand-up comedy all around the world with the likes of Jeff Dunham & Peanut, Amazing Jonathon, Jamie Foxx, Willie Tyler and Lester, Larry The Cable Guy and SNL cast members Jim Breuer, Darrell Hammond and Norm McDonald to name a few. Warren has written comedy for George Wallace, Jimmy “J.J” Walker, Daniel Tosh and many many others.
In 2003-2004 Warren toured Japan, Korea, and Guam entertaining for the United States Military on USO Tours.
In 2005 Warren acted in 2 feature films released in 2008. They are titled, “Cutoff” featuring Faye Dunaway, Malcolm McDowell, Anne Archer and directed by Gino Cabanas. “Even Money” featuring Danny Devito, Kim Basinger, Forrest Whittaker, Kelsey Grammer and directed by Mark Rydell.
For Thanksgiving 2005, Warren was in the Middle East where he ventured out on another USO Tour visiting 8 countries in 25 days throughout Afghanistan, Kyrgizstan, Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia entertaining the US troops and Allied Joint Forces for “Operation Enduring Freedom”.
Warren has produced over a dozen short films since 2006 and is a producer on the short film titled One Child that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival’s Short Film Corner in May ‘08.
Currently, Warren is proud to be living out his destiny as part of the creative team at The Vine Studio setting new precedents in Television and Film for the 21st century.
