A motivated educator, coach, and church member, Jarrod Everson currently serves as Associate Pastor and Minister of Education at Madison Street Baptist Church.
Everson has been involved with education ministries for nearly a decade. Starting as Minister of Education at Pray’s Mill Baptist Church, Jarrod Everson developed the church’s teaching program for its members to enjoy. Designing classes centered on the inspired word of God, Everson reached out to the church community. Everson was in charge of numerous education services, including children and adult programs. During his tenure, Jarrod Everson implemented practices and programs still used at Pray’s Mill today.
In 2004, Jarrod Everson accepted a position as Associate Pastor and Minister of Education at Madison Street Baptist Church, where he instructs the congregation in biblical doctrine. Through his service, Everson’s own belief is strengthened. Promoting a devout and well-rounded Christian lifestyle, Everson develops all schooling programs at Madison Street. Everson has improved adult Sunday school and discipleship ministries as Minister of Education. In addition to working directly with Madison Street, Jarrod Everson is a member of the National Association of Church Business Administration.
Before he became a Pastor, Everson was the Assistant Football Coach for the Liberty University Flames. Everson’s team played at Williams Stadium. During Everson’s coaching season, the football team drew a crowd of 12,000 at a home game.
Jarrod Everson played football while attending Liberty University, where he studied Exercise Sciences. Today, Everson plays basketball, tennis, and racquetball recreationally. Everson also goes hunting with his sons and runs with his wife. Everson is an endurance runner, and participates in several marathons and 50K races. Everson is affiliated with Upward Basketball and Soccer as a volunteer coach. In his free time, Everson likes to read and write.
