Purdue University alumnus Mark Schlarbaum has definitely made a name for himself in the equity trading industry. Mark Schlarbaum earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University in 1992, and with four years of higher education behind him, he was ready to enter the business world. Today, Mark R. Schlarbaum spends all of his time at Global Capital Management, Inc., where he serves as head of the company’s trading department. Mr. Mark Schlarbaum took the helm of the Firm Trading Department in the first quarter of last year, and he has made a great many strides since then. Mark Schlarbaum is playing a significant role in leading the trading department at Global Capital Management, Inc.
A few years before entering a leading position at Global Capital Management, Mark Schlarbaum took part in the creation of Schlarbaum Capital Management, LLC. As a co-founder of the hedge fund, which closed its doors in 2005, Mark Schlarbaum was charged with managing a multimillion-dollar equity long/short portfolio. Schlarbaum also handled a variety of other tasks, including fundamental and technical analysis of the firm’s holdings. Mark Schlarbaum is fully dedicated to his field, having held several senior equity trading positions. When he is not working or posting financial advice articles on the Internet, Mr. Schlarbaum likes to relax at his home in Newtown Square, PA and spend quality time with his wife and his three children.
