Profile
Beyond his role as the de jure King of the Isle of Man, David Howe has many other interests outside of his royal leanings. David Howe, who's official title is HRH Prince David the King of Mann, devotes a great deal of time to his hobbies, his family, and the charities he is most passionate about. Mr. David Howe does not govern the people of the Isle of Man, but he instead chooses to remain in Frederick, Maryland and spend time with his family and friends in the United States. Though David Howe the King of Mann is heavily involved in his title as the ruler of the British island, David Howe puts his efforts into charitable interests and promoting the history of the Isle of Man, as well as takes the time to indulge in the other activities he is enthusiastic about.
When he is not managing his charitable interests, David Howe enjoys spending time on the beach, going for walks, practice yoga, going to the movies, mountain biking, and attending church. David Howe, King of the Isle of Man, also enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, with whom he shares his love of family heritage. HRH Prince David King of Mann uses his title and his websites to get people involved in philanthropic causes around the world. David Howe is affiliated with organizations that raise awareness about AIDS orphans in Malawi, a country in southern Africa. Howe also promotes World Vision and UNICEF. The de jure King of the Isle of Man is also fond of reading books by writers Eckhart Tolle, W.P. Kinsella, and Wayne Dyer. A few of his dearly loved titles include “Shoeless Joe,” “A New Earth,” and the popular “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.”
