Mr. Chip Conk has a history of success. This entrepreneur and businessman has an intuition about all things business. It’s no wonder Chip Conk was a finalist for the Inc. Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year award in 1993. It was obvious that Chip Conk was taking the business world by storm. Mr. Conk’s business savvy kicked into full gear in 1984, when he started his first company, Day Dream Publishing. Day Dream Publishing became one of the largest and most successful calendar and poster producing companies in the world. At one point, Day Dream Publishing employed more than 600 people, including Chip’s older sister Joellyn Conk and his younger brother Chris Conk. Having achieved both national and international success, Chip Conk sold Day Dream Publishing in 1997. Chip got the idea for Day Dream Publishing while he was still a student at University of California at Santa Barbara. The Conk siblings collaborated once again and started Montecito Property Company, a property acquisition and renovation company. The Conk siblings and the team of professionals they worked with helped turn Montecito Property Company into a $1.7 billion business. These days, Mr. Chip Conk can be found running the show at Montecito Medical Investment Company (MMIC) where he is the president and chief executive officer. Montecito Medical Investment Company is a privately held real estate company that facilitates the acquisition and renovation of medical buildings. At Montecito Medical Investment Company, located in Santa Barbara, CA, Chip Conk teamed up with Joellyn and Chris once again.
