Mr. Ambras has hands on experience in the technical and executive recruiting arena. Jim Ambras attracted top performing employees for over two decades in the competitive tech field of Silicon Valley. Jim also oversaw the development of AltaVista Europe. While based in the United Kingdom, Ambras successfully hired talented technical personnel from a variety of European countries. This project added an international perspective to his extensive technical hiring knowledge. An innovative engineer with over twenty years of experience building, maintaining and researching software, Jim Ambras took his Computer Science degree from Syracuse University. A keen outdoorsman, James Ambras enjoys mountain biking in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter months. Jim Ambras is also an accomplished skier and routinely participates in cross-country, alpine touring and downhill excursions. His other passions include photography, travel and reading. Jim Ambras lives in Los Altos Hills, California.
