Profile
Marilyn Brunell has provided consultation services in Orthomolecular Medicine for 30 years and she uses her unrivaled medical experience and expertise to provide patients with an alternative to traditional medical treatments. The orthomolecular discipline emphasizes the manipulation of natural substances inside the human body to prevent and fight disease. These substances are usually vitamins and nutrients that are ingested to help keep the body healthy or to fight illness.
Marilyn Brunell focuses on orthomolecular fields that utilize substances that are natural to human beings; Brunell does not believe that inviting synthetic substances into the body is the way to heal. Orthomolecular techniques are designed to manipulate these natural levels in a way that will help the body use its own processes to attack specific illnesses.
Brunell may be an expert in orthomolecular medical theory, but she refrains from selling vitamin supplements. By removing herself from supplement sales, Brunell exercises the freedom to operate outside of the corporate pressure and influence that can occasionally taint other practices within alternative medicine. By maintaining a pure consultation role, Brunell can provide unbiased advice and guidance for those who seek orthomolecular substitutes.
Marilyn Brunell participates in numerous activities outside of Orthomolecular Medicine; she has conducted volunteer work in Guatemala while serving with Vivamos Mejor, a Central American medical foundation. Brunell also worked with the World Wild Life Fund and Conservation International.
The World Wild Life Fund is an environmental conservation organization that extends across 100 countries and features over 5 million global members. The fund has been actively working to conserve global natural environments for more than 40 years and focuses on both the immediate safety of endangered ecosystems and the animal life within them, as well as the promotion of preservation education that will help keep these areas safe well into the future. Marilyn Brunell and other members of the Fund help negotiate harmony between human needs and those of the natural areas surrounding them.
