Menaul Fine Art creates contemporary digital abstract art currently printed as limited edition giclees on canvas or open editions on paper.
Giclee is a French word for sprayed ink; the term giclee is used in the fine art world for fine art inkjet printing and reproduction.
Our artwork has a common theme; each piece features glass-like objects that have a glowing and reflective quality, similar to blown glass, stained glass or jewelry. The interplay of light with the transparency of “glass” and reflections makes the artwork unusual and interesting.
One of the advantages of working digitally is that the artwork can be easily customized: color palette, size and proportions can all be changed to match a client's taste and home decor.
We can create a line (a number of pieces) specifically for a client; such as a hotel chain, a retail chain, a marketing or sales representative, etc. Our artwork sells in residential, corporate and hospitality settings (hospitality meaning hotels, restaurants, etc.)
Many people see “energy” in the artwork. Others see it as being spiritual, religious or therapeutic. That's one of the great things about abstract art. People see different things in it and enjoy talking about it. Scott sees the artwork as being a celebration of imagination and the human spirit. People frequently tell him that they see other artwork and life in new ways after seeing his work. It gets people to think “outside the box.”
