Ferdinand Starbuck currently works as the Non-Profit Project Consultant for the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Waterbury Hospital, and the University of New Haven. Ferdinand Starbuck partnered with AHP in Falls Church, Virginia over eight years ago, and the highly valued and respected fundraiser has since created and marketed customized hospital gift-giving profiles for The AHP Guide to Giving Opportunities at Health Care Institutions.
At CASE, Ferdinand Starbuck orchestrated all aspects of the creation and management of the CASE Guide to Giving Opportunities, from marketing to financial record-keeping. Starbuck continues to oversee the project with a great deal of skill and professionalism. His ingenious sales tactics, coupled with his natural persuasiveness, led to an increase in the customer list and an 80% renewal rate from the years he previously managed.
Ferdinand Starbuck is also affiliated with Waterbury Hospital, where he designed and launched a planned giving program and donor recognition society. He also created a website, brochures, newsletter, a bequest expectancy file, and professional advisors network that promoted contributions and led to the promise of countless Charitable Gift Annuity Planned Gifts.
At the University of New Haven, Ferdinand Starbuck fashioned and implemented marketing strategies, promoted planned giving, and markedly improved the college’s planned giving society through the formation of an honorary board, estate bequest file, and newsletter/brochure.
Prior to becoming a Non-Profit Project Consultant, Ferdinand Starbuck graduated with a B.A. and M.B.A. in Economics from Rollins College and worked in advertising, sales, and marketing. Today, Starbuck is known throughout his profession for his diligence, thoroughness, completion of projects ahead of schedule, and keeping his staff members focused on their tasks.
