Wayne Schepens engendered critical thinking and a passion for knowledge through his lectures and innovative educational programs, which included developing the cyber defense exercise at the United States Military Academy and other military colleges. Wayne Schepens is also an accomplished public speaker and published author.
Wayne Schepens currently serves as Owner of WayneWright Designs and WayneWright Construction. Mr. Wayne Schepens has put his managerial and engineering expertise to use in his companies and takes pride in the quality of work his firms produce. In the first year of operation, Wayne Schepens built his emerging business into a firm that took in over $1 million in revenue.
Wayne J. Schepens holds an advanced degree in Civil Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA. Wayne Schepens also earned his B.S. in Electrical engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College in Bronx, NY. While in school, Wayne Schepens was a part of the IEEE and the Order of Engineers. Wayne Schepens also was a member of the baseball team while in college and served as team captain for two years.
Wayne Schepens has written numerous articles, including “A lesson in cyber defense,” which details network vulnerabilities, security issues, and the American government’s involvement with CDX (Cyber Defense Exercise).
In his free time, Wayne Schepens enjoys staying active and coaching little league baseball in his home state of Maryland.
