Stephen Fiverson worked for almost 30 years as the chief executive officer of Colt Corporation, a corporate entity that included among its subsidiaries, companies involved in packaging, storage, warehousing, equipment leasing, logistics, and distribution. Colt Corporation is located in Kearny, New Jersey. Fiverson began working there in 1972 and resigned in 2001 after a successful run at the company.
Before joining Colt Corporation, Mr. Fiverson attended Pennsylvania State University and the Rutgers School of Law in Newark, New Jersey. At Pennsylvania State University, he studied political science and eventually graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in 1965. He graduated with an impressive academic record as well as a notable list of achievements and affiliations. He was advertising manager at the Daily Collegian, president of AEPi, and an active member of the local Hillel. After graduation from Pennsylvania State, Stephen went on to attend Rutgers School of Law to study legal studies. He graduated from Rutgers in 1968 with his Juris Doctor.
Aside from his schooling and professional career, Fiverson has been associated with many different charitable works and other organizations. These include: United Jewish Appeal, Prostate Cancer Foundation, Temple Bnai Abraham, Mass. General Hospital, Israel Bonds, Community Chest, Museum of Jewish Heritage, Palm Healthcare Foundation, Albert Einstein College of Medicine ["Founder"], Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, National Association of Chemical Distributors, Board Member, Northeast Chemical Distributors Council President, Independent Liquid Terminals Association, South Kearny Industrial Association, board member and founder, Young Presidents Organization {YPO}.
Because he has worked so diligently both academically and professionally during his lifetime, Stephen Fiverson knows the value of recreational activities as well. In his spare time he likes to play golf and travel. He also enjoys collecting and learning about antiques.
