Born in Israel, Nir Yacovi became intrigued by business and commerce at a young age.
In 1988, Nir Yacovi enrolled in the School of Business Administration at the College of Management and Academic Studies in Tel Aviv, Israel. He studied there through 1992, when he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance.
For the next six or seven years, Nir Yacovi worked in the corporate world of accounting and finance. In 1999, hungry for more training, Nir Yacovi enrolled at Tel Aviv’s John Bryce Training Center, where he studied Programming in Client/Server environment before graduating with honors.
After graduating from the John Bryce center, Nir Yacovi entered the professional world for several years before bringing his accomplished professional skills from Israel to the United States, ultimately relocating to Massachusetts.
Nir Yacovi returned to school in 2003 to study for his MBA. Focusing on International Business and Marketing, Nir Yacovi earned his MBA in 2004. In 2005, he
Founded IB Tax Services (IBTS) in Newton, Massachusetts.
As a principal with IBTS, Nir Yacovi specializes in taxes, accounting and consulting for businesses and individuals. IBTS offers both short and long-term strategic tax planning, in addition to professional preparation of Federal and state taxes for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, including international tax treaties in all 50 states.
IBTS professional services go far beyond accounting, auditing, and tax services to include management advisory services such as business planning, assistance in setting goals and creating plans of action, advice on business valuation and assistance in delineating and choosing the best financing options.
