I started life as a doodler, my school books were covered with illustrations, I sat at my desk staring out the window in between doodles... school was not a highlight for me. My ability to draw developed & soon i found myself getting logo requests from the local businesses, mostly friends who were starting up.
One day i entered a print shop to have something burnt onto a disc (back then my PC was one of the last species to have survived the first ice age - & i had no means to burn work onto CD... i had to compress everything & make sure it fitted onto a floppy disc.. remember them?)... the man behind the counter looked over my work.. he saw the potential & offered me a job on the spot... next few months i made coffee.. & hoovered.. eventually after the 'wax on wax off' period it had dawned on me that this 'Mr Miyagi' was actually guiding me!... i was then allowed to make herbal tea!
I now work as a freelance graphic designer & illustrator from my home in Birmingham, UK, where i live with my beautiful wife & wonderful little girl...
