Dr. Carlos A. Suarez MD received his medical degree at the prestigious Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia ( LIMA - PERU ) and was licensed in Peru in 2000.
Later in 2003 he attended East Tennessee State University in Kingsport where he completed his Family Medicine Residency program in 2006. Dr. Suarez went to several training programs to supplement his alternative medicine knowledge such as the prestigious Helms Medical Institute ( California ) for his Medical Acupuncture Training, Wake Forest University for Nutrition and Herbal Medicine, University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil for Nutrition, the Upledger Institute for Craniosacral therapy and the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He is also a Reiki practitioner.
Dr. Suarez joined North Bend Medical Center at NBMC Bandon in December 2006.
Bandon, has a population around 3100 is located in the Southern Oregon coast where the Coquille River meets the Pacific Ocean, Bandon, Oregon is 90 miles north of the California border, about a 90 minute drive to Interstate 5 at Roseburg, five hours by car from Portland and about nine hours from San Francisco.
