The director of Florida Hospital/Celebration Health's prostate cancer research program. Dr. Onik received his BA degree from Harvard College and his MD degree from New York Medical College. He completed a radiology residency at the University of California at San Francisco and a fellowship in Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology Research at New England Deaconess Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Onik has fifteen (15) years experience in performing cryosurgery and is the inventor and pioneer of ultrasound guided cryosurgery for both the prostate and the liver. He is the two time president of the American College of Cryosurgery and has authored several books and many articles on the subject of oncology.
