Larry Kintisch, MS, CDP, CSP, is a former IBM Systems Engineer, a programmer, systems analyst and database consultant. He has been teaching SQL, QMF and DB2 for IBM and others since 1984. As an IBM contractor he trains customers at IBM sites and IBM Business Partner sites throughout the USA.
He teaches a 2-day European-developed course "Cost-Saving Database Index Design" to I.T. Database Developers and DBA's throughout the USA.
IBM courses he teaches include SQL and QMF workshops; DB2 for z/OS introduction, programming, administration and tuning classes; and a relational database design course.
Over the past twenty-two years Larry has presented over a dozen seminars and workshops for professional associations in five cities covering SQL, DB2, Data Modeling and Index Design.
He holds an engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY and a Masters in engineering from Union College, Schenectady, NY.
