With writing, editing and design that spans several continents, Ryan McLaughlin has created a respected name for himself in the content creation and design industry.
Starting initially in freelance writing, Ryan moved into the role of Assistant Editor for well-known Canadian publisher Norris-Whitney Communications (NWC) - editing and writing copy for the company's four publications: Canadian Musician, Canadian Music Trade, Professional Sound and Professional Lighting.
Amicably, Ryan left NWC in 2003 to widen his perspective of the world. After globe-trotting for a number of months, he landed in China. The country, and the woman who is now is wife, captivated his heart and have led him to make the country his home.
Since relocating to China, Ryan has created a number of high-trafficked sites with a focus on to-the-point information for foreigners whom have a vested interest in China.
Additionally, via his company Dao By Design, he provides editing and content creation, as well as Web development and design services, for various enterprises both in China and abroad.
