Hello,
My name is June Gaw. I live in southern-middle Tennessee I am a new member to iKarma. I am really looking forward to meeting some more wonderful and interesting people.
I have always been interested in the public and sales. I started at age 14 with Christmas cards. Then I went to a carhop. For those of you who are a lot younger than me, that is a waitress in the parking lot. Not tables, cars.
I have always love to be in the kitchen or in the yard and garden. The older I got, the more I learned. But making a living, I was not. The compensation I recieved was the smiles and the look in peoples eyes when I gave them their special dish I had made from scratch. Close to what thier mama made. Note I said close.
An orphaned plant or tree would find a good home with me. When it was healthy and ready, I give it to the person I had in mind when I found it. Now I have finally found my niche in life. I joined Veretekk and Amigo and it has snowballed
from there.
Now I give people things I am proud of and trust and make a living too. How great is that? That's not to mention the wonderful,interesting people I have met along the way. There out some great souls in this world, if you look in the right place. I don't feel like a strange indiviual anymore. I am a part of a group, a team, a world of people like me. Helping other people and not forgetting yourself. Yes it is possible.
I want to personally thank Tom Munson for introducing me to my great new life and all the people he has turned me onto.
