Hi. My name is Alex. With over 7 years and 4000 hours of tutoring experience students of all ages and academic abilities, I am confident we can work together to ensure your academic success! I am NTA certified as a Professional tutor with a BS and BA from the University of Connecticut. My tutoring philosophy focuses on teaching practical aspects of the material in a way that is easiest for you to learn. My long-term mission is to positively influence students to become wise and mature, and (most importantly) happy citizens. Individualized notes and lesson plans accompany every session!
As a Math Tutor, I tutor arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, precalculus, calculus, statistics, and mathematical logic. As a science tutor, I tutor general science, biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy & physiology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and neuroscience. As an English tutor, I tutor writing, poetry, and grammar.
