Profile
After studing art for one year in college in 1976, I didn't follow through with further study. Shame on me.
After a trip to Ireland in 1998, I felt compelled to again pick up a brush and paint. Several workshops and classes later, I had fallen in love with painting Irish landscapes.
I began painting just for my own enjoyment but, at the urging of family and friends, started showing my work.
I have been featured in galleries in North Georgia and have shown artworks at several Civic Centers and the Chattanooga Convention Center in Tennessee.
My work is in collections in several southeastern states and in Ireland.
Expanding my use of mediums and paint supports is what I'm currently working on. Plein air is a style which currently interests me.
I've found that looking at the world through artist's eyes has given me a fresh perspective of the daily beauty surrounding us all.
