Sandy (aka Alexander) Wakeling has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Carleton University in Ottawa and post baccalaureate Certificate in Corporate Communications from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.
Wakeling currently Chairs the Pitt Meadows Economic Development Advisory Committee, and sits as a member of the Pitt Meadows Official Community Plan Review Committee.
Sandy currently has over seven years of experience in the field of communications, and has held a number of contract positions providing community relations assistance to BC Hydro, the BC Medical Association, Fraser Health and former Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows MLA Ken Stewart. Sandy is currently the Marketing and Communications Director for Meadowridge School in Maple Ridge.
