Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Donna, however I prefer my middle name, Maddison. Hopefully reading my blog title gave you some idea what I do for a living
Let me tell you my story. I started EastLake Marketing Group after being fired from my job with a corporate giant, (whom shall remain nameless). I was forty-something when this happened, so you can imagine I panicked. How the hell do I start over at forty-one?
After much thinking and debating, I decided to start my own business. I started my business in 2004 with about $25,000 in settlement money (I sued the corporate giant). This at the time was the only way I figured I would be safe from being fired again.
It has been almost 5 years since I became an entrepreneur, and let me tell you, I love every minute of being my own boss. Sure it's hard work, 18 hour days, 7 days a week. I've got clients, I work hard to serve them, so they don't go elsewhere. My goal for EastLake Marketing Group is continued growth and the ability to serve my clients well.
EastLake Marketing Group creates marketing buzz online and offline. I have 20+ years of marketing knowledge. I'm talented at what I do, but I know my limits, that is why I've pooled together a group of equally talented folks to work with me. I'm the proud mother of two lovely grown daughters, both in college. My daily life as follows: me, my business, my girls, and cat Maxwell 'little man'. When time permits, I hang out with friends and partake in fine dining, movies, shopping and traveling.

Announcement - EastLake Marketing Group's New Business Venture
EastLake Marketing Group will embark on a new avenue of marketing. I’m adding ‘Marketing Coaching’ to my umbrella. To most of my clients, colleges, and friends this is something I already implement in my consulting business.
This new area of marketing will focus on coaching start-up business owners with how to navigate marketing a business. I’m totally excited about this, I feel that one-on-one coaching is exactly what start-up business owners need. Most start-up companies have little to none skills when it comes to marketing a business.
This side of EastLake Marketing Group will be a much needed resource for gaining knowledge regarding marketing. You don't have to be a start-up business, all levels, small, medium or large are welcome to experience my coaching services.
