Since 1951 the family's reputation in Vancouver has prompted Steve to learn the craft of making consistently great suits with European sensibilities for looks that last. With classic styling quality balances new trends in ones wardrobe. Steve Samson beautifully coordinates and cuts to fit , mens & womens wardrobes of suits, sportsjackets, slacks and shirts.

"What impresses me the most is Steve’s knowledge of tailoring. Samson’s has a fine selection of fabrics to choose from with good service and after service as well. I’ve been to 5 different tailors/shirt makers and now I bring all my tailoring here.

"The first rule of woman's fashion is said to be "if you have nothing to show hide it, if you have nothing to hide, show it". "I have had several custom suits made by Steve over the past 3 years. He is very meticulous and cares about his craft. He takes the time to ensure that the fabric and cut fit your body correctly. If multiple fittings are required to get things just right Steve will do whatever it takes. He is a class act."

"I first met Steve more than fifteen years ago when I was getting married and wanted a suit. I knew I wanted tailor-made but knew nothing about the details. Steve had a small storefront on Robson Street in Vancouver at that time that I'd noticed on a couple of occasions.
