Profile
Paul Bleier is a Technical Associate Consultant within the Leadership and Talent Management practice in the Toronto office of Hay Group. His current role as a generalist supports projects that span a full-range of Hay Group services in leadership development and talent management. He helps organizations work by designing and implementing practical and effective solutions.
Delivering results for clients
At Hay Group, Paul has assisted in delivering successful business solutions for a range of private sector organizations, including: Actelion Pharmaceuticals, Amgen, AstraZeneca, Caterpillar, and Johnson & Johnson.
Areas of expertise
Paul has worked in a number of areas related to leadership and talent management including projects that required front-end analysis and instructional design. He assisted with the design of an HR curriculum for Johnson & Johnson through the creation of learning hierarchies. He worked on a blended learning solution for Caterpillar’s Making Great Leaders program that included the design and development of e-learning modules, a facilitator-led workshop, and post-pilot evaluation materials. Paul also has experience in customizing Hay Group programs in resilience to ensure content specificity for diverse target audiences that regularly appear within our client organizations. His instructional design experience is grounded in leadership styles and organizational climate for which he has developed original exercises that have been included in our current leadership development programs. Paul is also capable of conducting research to aid in the assessment and diagnosis of client needs.
Paul’s Education and Affiliations
Prior to joining Hay Group, Paul worked with autistic children as an instructional therapist and for an international cruise line as a programme facilitator.
Paul is currently finishing his requirements for a Master of Science Degree in Training and Development from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Paul’s current research interests involve virtual stakeholder collaboration using multiple forms of computer-mediated communication. Paul also holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology from McMaster University.
